PerfectioX
Combined LED and infrared therapy for tone, firmness and circulation.
- Dullness
- Uneven tone
- Early laxity
- Tired-looking skin
- Poor circulation
What is PerfectioX?
PerfectioX combines LED light with infrared, which carries warmth deeper into the tissue than visible light reaches on its own. The intention is to support collagen, improve circulation and help the skin look less tired, across a course rather than a session.
It belongs in the same category as red light therapy: comfortable, cumulative, no downtime, and genuinely useful as part of a plan. It is not a lifting treatment and it is not a substitute for one, and anywhere describing an LED device as a non-surgical facelift is describing something it cannot do.
Infrared reaches further than visible light but it is still light. It does not lift, it does not tighten in the way an ultrasound or radiofrequency treatment does, and it will not change the structure of your face. Marketing that calls an LED device a non-surgical facelift is describing something no LED device can do.

Is this the right treatment for you?
Skin looking tired rather than lined?
Tone and circulation are what this works on, and tiredness is largely both.
Want something with no recovery at all?
There is nothing to recover from. It is warmth and light.
Already booking facials?
It is commonly added to one rather than taken alone, which is also the cheaper way to have it.
Expecting a lift?
Light does not lift. If that is what you came for, ask about the lifting family instead.
When it is not appropriate
Pregnancy or breastfeeding, active infection or inflamed skin in the treatment area, recent isotretinoin use, photosensitising medication, and a history of keloid scarring all need to be raised before anything is booked. Tell the practitioner about every medication and supplement you are taking. Photosensitive conditions and photosensitising medication must be raised, and heat-based therapy is avoided over active inflammation.

PerfectioX, answered
How is this different from red light therapy?
The infrared reaches deeper than visible light does, so this is aimed a little more at firmness and circulation and a little less at surface calming. They overlap, and which one you are offered should depend on your skin rather than on what is free that day.
Is it hot?
Warm rather than hot, and the intensity is set to what is comfortable for you.
Can I have it with a facial?
Yes, and that is how it is most often used — as the finishing stage rather than the whole appointment.
When will I see a difference?
Gradually, across a course. Tone and the way skin catches light shift before anything else does.
How long does it last?
Weeks, and held by repeating. It is maintenance rather than correction.
Can I combine it with other treatments?
Usually taken as the finishing stage of a facial rather than as its own appointment.
