What is HIFU Tummy?
HIFU on the body works the way it does on the face: focused ultrasound creates controlled points of heat below the surface, and the body responds by producing collagen over the following months. On the abdomen it is aimed at skin that has loosened rather than at fat.
That distinction matters. If the concern is a layer of fat, this is not the treatment and you should be told so — cooling or injectable lipolysis would be the conversation instead. Assessment decides which, and often the honest answer is a combination.
This targets a defined pocket of fat and loose skin. It is not a weight loss treatment, it will not tighten skin that has lost all elasticity, and it does nothing for what is behind the abdominal wall. Where the issue is overall weight, you will be told that directly rather than sold a course.

When it is not appropriate
Pregnancy or breastfeeding, a pacemaker or implanted electrical device, hernia in the treatment area, active infection, and any condition affecting circulation or sensation must all be raised before anything is booked. Tell the practitioner about every medication and supplement you are taking. Hernia in the treatment area rules this out until it has been dealt with.

Will this make me lose weight?
No. It is not a weight-loss treatment and it is not a substitute for one. Anyone telling you otherwise is selling, not advising.
Fat or loose skin — how do I know which I have?
That is exactly what the assessment is for, and it is the question that decides the treatment.
Does it hurt?
Brief deep heat at each point. Comfort is checked as the session runs and settings adjusted.
How long before I see anything?

When will I see a difference?

How long does it last?
