What is Profhilo?
Profhilo is placed at a small number of fixed points and then spreads through the tissue rather than staying where it was put. It is not there to change a shape. It hydrates the skin from underneath and prompts the skin to improve its own structure over the following weeks.
Because it spreads, it does nothing for a specific line or a particular hollow. If what bothers you is one fold or one flat cheek, this is the wrong treatment and a different one should be offered.

When it is not appropriate
This is a medical procedure and it is carried out by a doctor. Pregnancy or breastfeeding, any bleeding or clotting disorder, blood-thinning medication, active infection or inflamed skin in the treatment area, a history of keloid scarring, and any autoimmune or neuromuscular condition all have to be raised before anything is booked. Bring a full list of your medicines and supplements, including the ones you would not think to mention.
