What is HIFU Jawline?
HIFU — high-intensity focused ultrasound — is delivered at a set depth under the skin, creating small points of controlled heat in the support layer. The body repairs those points by producing collagen, and the tissue tightens as it does.
The jawline is the area people most often ask about, because it is where definition is lost first and where a small change reads clearly in photographs. As with any collagen treatment, the result arrives slowly and varies between people.
It defines an existing jawline. It does not remove fat under the chin, and it cannot create a jaw shape that is not there underneath — bone structure is bone structure. Where the real issue is a fat pocket rather than loose skin, a contouring treatment is the honest answer and you will be pointed at it instead.

When it is not appropriate
Pregnancy or breastfeeding, active infection or inflamed skin in the treatment area, recent isotretinoin use, photosensitising medication, and a history of keloid scarring all need to be raised before anything is booked. Tell the practitioner about every medication and supplement you are taking. Fillers, implants or metal in the treatment area must be raised first.

How is this different from Ulthera Sculpt?
They are closely related and both use focused ultrasound. Which device and which depth suits you is a decision for the assessment, not something to pick from a page.
Will it give me a jawline I do not have?
No. It tightens what is there. Bone structure is not something a device changes, and you should be told that rather than sold a course.
Does it hurt?
Brief deep heat at each point, more noticeable over bone. Comfort is checked as it runs.
When will I see a difference?
Gradually, across six to twelve weeks, as collagen rebuilds. Photographs at the start are worth more than memory here, which is why they are taken.
How long does it last?
Typically months, and longer where weight is stable. Ageing continues underneath, so this holds a line rather than fixing one permanently.
Can I combine it with other treatments?
