What is 24K Gold Facial?
A multi-stage hydrating facial using serums infused with 24K gold, worked through cleansing, massage and a finishing mask. It leaves the skin hydrated, calm and noticeably brighter on the day.
The honest version of this: most of what you feel afterwards comes from the hydration, the massage and an hour of being properly looked after, and those are real benefits rather than nothing. Gold is not a corrective ingredient and this is not a treatment for a skin problem. If you came in about pigment, acne or lines, you should be offered something that addresses them.

When it is not appropriate
Pregnancy or breastfeeding, active infection or inflamed skin in the treatment area, recent isotretinoin use, photosensitising medication, and a history of keloid scarring all need to be raised before anything is booked. Tell the practitioner about every medication and supplement you are taking. Any allergy to gold or to the serums used must be raised before booking.

Does the gold actually do anything?
Not in the corrective sense. The hydration, the massage and the care are doing most of the work, and that is worth having on its own terms. We would rather tell you that than make a claim for the metal.
Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
Usually, because it is gentle by design. Any allergy history still needs raising first.
Can I have it before a wedding?
